When it comes to weight management and bariatric care, having a trusted expert by your side can make all the difference. Sue Norton brings over 33 years of experience as a dietitian, working across both the NHS and private sector, to guide patients through every step of their journey.
As a bariatric specialist for the past 14 years, Sue has supported countless patients before and after surgery, helping them achieve sustainable, life-changing results. Her career has been diverse – she has worked as a health journalist for national magazines, served as a company dietitian for a meal replacement company, and even ran her own online support business for bariatric patients.
At Transform, Sue’s experience has grown even further. She started as a dietitian, progressed to Head of Nutrition and Dietetic Department, then Clinical Dietetic Lead for weight management, and now leads the Weight Management division. Her extensive knowledge ensures that every patient receives personalised, expert guidance tailored to their unique needs.

- Sue Norton specialises in all aspects of weight management and bariatric care, ensuring patients have the best possible weight loss journey, from the initial consultations right through the post-operative care and long-term lifestyle management. Her expertise includes all types of weight loss surgery, including gastric bypass, sleeve and band, as well as non – surgical options such as weight loss injections and more.

In addition to surgical care, Sue is also highly experienced in dietetic training, coordinating MDT meetings, audits and managing the specialist aftercare teams for weight loss.
Role at the Clinic
- Sue Norton leads and manages the Nutrition and Dietetic Department, Weight Loss Aftercare Team, and Specialist Weight Loss Patient Advisors at Transform. Her day-to-day role is varied, including overseeing bariatric consultations, supporting complex patients, coordinating and participating in multidisciplinary team (MDT) meetings, conducting audits, liaising with surgeons, and ensuring high standards of patient aftercare. She ensures every patient’s weight loss journey runs smoothly from start to finish, providing guidance, support, and expert care alongside her dedicated team.
